Walls

Teams will be doing exercises at wall areas covered with "WHITEBOARD CLING-SHEETS", SO IT IS CRITICAL THAT each team needs lots of CLEAR FLAT wall space for this. There needs be lots of clear empty wall space, and we must be able to use the walls, and put things on the walls.

Room

People will be organized into table-teams, averaging 5 people per team. The tables are ideally in separate islands, circular or square, with a team at each.

Table Layout

Round tables are ideal, but we can live with rectangular layouts

  • Tables should not be against the walls; we are using the walls as a working area in this course.

  • Distribute the tables throughout the room

Per Team-Table (e.g., of 5 people):

  • 5 sticky blank name labels, for people to put on, after they've written their name on it. often, these come in peel-off sheets, and that implies "1 sheet per table"

  • 2 packages of 3x5 inch Yellow-only Post-It notes

  • 5 BLACK "Sharpie" style small fine-tipped black marker pens

  • 5 BLACK WHITEBOARD marker pens

Supplies for Each Table of Participants

internet access (wire or WIFI) and related security access (e.g., via guest account, ...). NB: this may require organizing a guess account for me, so please arrange that early. Many organizations already have a "guess access" service (wired or wireless) and plan A is to learn about and provide that.

  • 1 table

  • (optional) a "bar stool", so sitting higher and easier to see

  • 1 computer projector

  • 1 white projector screen at the front of the room

  • 2 flipcharts, on stands

  • 1 (relatively large) whiteboard (e.g., on wheels) at the front of the room, by the screen, so the coach can sketch

  • 2 BLACK WHITEBOARD marker pens

  • whiteboard eraser

  • 1 roll of wide easy-to-remove tape, ideally "masking" or "painters" tape, that won't strip the paint off the walls when removed

Supplies for Coach

  • I use lunch as an opportunity to show the participants videos to maximize the learning time.

  • My Preference is that a light & healthy lunch is served at 12:00. Heavy lunches don’t lend themselves well to an all day training.

  • Snack and coffees at 2:30 pm
